Hundreds of high-speed trains ? were being prepped Tuesday in Nanjing, China, ahead of the Chinese New Year travel rush. China, already home to the world’s largest rail network, launched 10 new railways at the end of 2018 to help deal with this year's “Chunyun,” the 40-day travel period when people head home to celebrate with their families, state-run media reported. The event is the largest annual human migration, and this year is set to be bigger than ever, with close to 3 billion trips expected to be made between January 21 and March 1.
