I’ve been thinking about it for 5 minutes or so, and I’ve decided to run for President.
Keeping in mind:
1-I’m completely unqualified(but that didn’t stop trump or gw bush).
2-i won’t campaign or raise money.
3-i absolutely do not think I should be president.
4-maybe its an interesting way to talk about some issues? Like why we subsidize industries that make people sick(tobacco, animal agriculture, oil production, etc)? Why we make people sick and then spend trillions of dollars on health care? Why we have an anti democratic electoral college? Why D.C isn’t a state? Why Puerto Rico isn’t a state? Why we encourage people to build coastal real estate in flood zones? And so on.
5-i really don’t expect to be on any ballots, nor do I think that anyone should ever vote for me.
6-Big question: why do we even have a president? Why do we give one individual so much power? Are we still that addicted to royalty?
7-almost ANYONE would be a better president than trump, who will go down in history as the worst elected official in u.s history(and that’s a REALLY low bar).
8-oh, also I won’t do any interviews so don’t bother asking.
But sure, I’ll run for President as long as I don’t have to campaign, and as long as no one votes for me.
Also, your vote matters, so PLEASE don’t waste your vote on celebrities or 3rd party candidates.
