Our annual family tradition of a New Years meal at Restaurant Nippon in NYC has been ongoing for decades. Even after the passing of the owner and his wife who were great friends with my mother since the ‘50s, we are compelled to show love and support for one of the oldest Japanese restaurants in Manhattan.
