Photo by @joemcnallyphoto — Been doing a series called “American Portraits.” Bud Adams has been cutting hair in New Orleans for 72 years, and for him, it’s never been work. He loves the job, and is great at doing it. I sat and got a great haircut from him after shooting his picture, and during the cut, I asked him if he still gave straight shaves. He chuckled and said, “You don’t want a straight shave from a 95 year old!” He was a gunner onboard a Liberty ship in WWII.
