Walked early through the silent Christmas dawn with my dog before my kids woke.
Remembering Christmases not so long ago when I just wanted to keep the peace , and the years when I just kept walking, between different friends (and their amazing open-armed families @leonanaess @vanina_sorrenti ) and different worlds, unsure of who or where I was supposed to be , and sometimes okay alone.
I take nothing for granted, and still often feel like that girl on the run, especially at Christmas, even as I hold my starry-eyed babes tight.
Thinking of all the modern families, those making-believe, and those who are alone.
