Love, a must.
I’m so thankful for my family, friends, teammates, mentors, inspirations & mostly my Savior. Over the years, I’ve become more excited to give than to receive. I don’t share that to portray some grand accomplishment.. I think it’s just me maturing. Either way, the world should be more giving. Therefore, im also thankful for a changed heart from my annoying childhood years. — I met Martin on the streets of downtown Santa Barbara recently & as you can imagine he was kicking around in some pretty beat up sneakers. I don’t like to share details about what I do for the homeless because it isn’t about me or my gesture. I simply feel inclined to share their stories but let’s just say Martin is heel toeing around in some pretty rad ultracush @vans now & he was psyched out of his mind. Posting this tonight because I’m so happy to be with my loved ones but a big part of my heart is aching for the homeless community around the world. Think of them. Pray for them. Do something for them. They are humans. They sing & dance. Laugh & cry. They feel things. I hope they find joy tonight & tomorrow amongst each other or from one of us that appear more fortunate. Or maybe it’s the other way around. Merry Christmas. just keep livin.
