When my dad retired and decided to go sail around the Atlantic, I knew I had to join him for a leg. Of course I picked the warmest piece in the Caribbean. I was convinced I would fall in love with high sea sailing, but it turns out that it’s not for me! Don’t get me wrong, I loved sharing my dad’s passion and made lifelong memories; but the slowness of it all, the constant movement and not seeing land for days on end didn’t match who I am! Still very glad I decided to go, as I know now I need a new dream. Living on a boat clearly won’t work out ?
