Jigokudani Yaen Koen―Home of the Hot Spring-loving Snow Monkeys

At Jigokudani Yaen Koen, people can see wild Japanese macaques living in their natural habitat.

This area is one of Japan’s prominent hot spring resorts, and from mid-December you can see the monkeys bath in the hot springs here.

*Because the monkeys are wild animals, there is no guarantee that they will appear in the park.
