My life begins and ends with these two.
Our last retreat of 2018 just ended today. I have done 12 weeks of retreats and trainings this year. 340 people have set their intentions, stepped out of their comfort zones, sat in circle and opened their hearts with me. I’ve slept at the studio, eaten all my meals at the studio, showered, changed and taken all my meetings in between classes right there on the other side of the Shala wall. I’ve been sick, missed my baby, been tired. In every group I have given 100% of myself. I don’t know how to do anything less than that. Some of it has been hard. Most of it has been so fucking beautiful I’m just sitting in my garden right now in awe of the universe, staring into space wondering what to do with everything that’s moving in my heart. I’ve given so much of myself. But I’ve been given so, so much in return. All of it and more.
To every person that spent their time, money and energy on coming to Aruba to practice with me this year... I am so grateful. So grateful. Thank you for letting me play a small part in your lives.
Now... I’m going to spend all of my time with these two. We got a Christmas tree. We’re going to decorate it. I made pasta for lunch. There are so many magical and mundane things for us to do, every day.
And there is nowhere I have to be but
right
here.
