I hear alot that many won't weight train because they don't know where to start. I promise..u'd be surprised how much your body builds as soon as you do just that- START. Here are 3 beginner moves with my trainer @amrosefitness shot by @benshaniproductions ?️ bcuz YESSS u should get workouts in before that damn holiday dinner ? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - Sled push: works calves, hamstrings, glutes and core. I started out a year ago as that girl who couldn't even last a push up day 1. Swear ? So this is a perfect move to get stronger AND improve both aerobic (cardio) and anaerobic (straight muscle abilities) endurance. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -Squat thrusters (squat to press bar overhead) quads, hamstrings, and glutes. You have to use your maje leg muscles to get the barbell overhead using your core and back muscles. Looks easy, hurts hard. And not cuz the only thing I lift over my head is a magnum bottle Fri nights ? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -Weighted sit ups (work full core, back and abs.) Adding the weight helps you build more muscle faster (adding weight to core exercises is secret 1 part of getting abs, the other is in the kitchen?) Also gives power in the major leg muscles, core endurance and overall body stamina. I haaaaate my "rice pot" aka that lower belly area BUT I did see this move show results!
