Once Japanese chef Takehiro Kishimoto (@gaku) saw pieces of produce carved as roses, he tried his hand at Thai fruit carving. Today, five years later, he’s dedicated his Instagram account to sharing his hand-carved creations that can take anywhere from 15 minutes to three hours to complete. “I like to carve apples, broccoli and avocado because those are known all over the world,” says Takehiro.
