Video by @amivitale | In addition to caring for orphaned elephants, Reteti Elephant Sanctuary (@r.e.s.c.u.e) also cares for orphaned giraffe, endangered Grevy’s Zebra and the black rhino Loijipu. Loijipu arrived at the sanctuary when he was only two days old - the size of a dinner plate. Today, he’s a sweet and spirited rhino who has grown strong and has already begun the process of being re-introduced into the wild where Reteti hopes he can one day reunite with his mother. Although he hasn’t met his mother yet, so far his return to the wild is going wonderfully.
