This one is called “Manhattan From the Sky” and is inspired by my song and the view of New York City from the window of an airplane.

I was an art student before I left college to sign a record deal, and I’ve always had all my sketchbooks and paints in my studio and brought them on the road. Since I moved to Paris I’ve felt really compelled to paint again, and I’m discovering every day how many parallels there are between music and art for me. I painted this in my Paris apartment, which thankfully has amazing light for painting.

When I’m stuck on a lyric, making art always helps. One of my main goals this year was to be able to really share more of “me” and what inspires me with my fans, so I’m excited to start doing more of these.
