Often times there is a thought process in business that by sharing information someone else will steal it / eclipse us / do it better than us etc. But authenticity cannot be replicated. ⠀

In my experience closed networking is not only insular and isolating, but it is detrimental to brand development and growth. It is through sharing ideas that creativity grows, communities gather and cultural impact is made. ⠀
Seth Godin powerfully said “An idea shared is more powerful than one that’s hidden. A community is stronger than divided individuals ever could be.” ⠀
I know this first hand to be true, the #SamanthaWills brand has been built on sharing information. Not just by sharing ideas and successes, but I think even more powerfully sharing the hurdles and downfalls. It is through these conversations and connections that new and even bigger and better ideas have emerged. ⠀
