?here's a glute-focused workout for you to try!? (don’t forget to double tap - it really helps my page ?) I'm using bands in all these workouts and focusing a lot on my form, squeeze (concentric part of each movement), and making sure both glutes are firing?? ⠀ ✖️banded american deadlifts✖️ - a great deadlift variation to target the glutes! notice how i'm really thrusting into the band - this is where I'm squeezing my glutes to finish the rep? the band is adding extra resistance and also helps cue me to extend at the hips instead of pulling the weight up with my back?? - 3x12 ⠀ ✖️banded hip thrusts w/ 2 s pauses✖️ - again, the band provides extra tension as I'm pushing against it which helps keep my knees from caving inwards. the 2-sec pause may look innocent and all, but it actually destroyed my glutes yesterday???I don't know how I'm walking today lol? - 3x10 ⠀ ✖️smith machine banded kneeling hip thrust✖️ - I love using a band for these since it helps add tension, and reminds me to initiate the movement at the hips?? - 3x10 ⠀ ✖️bent over banded quadruped kickbacks✖️ - using a flat bench for support, and keeping my knee bent to keep the hamstrings out of the equation? - 3x12 ⠀ ?I'd loved to hear from you! let me know what you think and if you'll be trying it. also do you like workouts with annotations?? let me know what's most helpful so I can keep doing it :) ⠀ ?song: NF - Lie (MWX Remix) ⠀ ?-flattering leggings: @vqfit virtue seamless in khaki? —link in the bio to shop??
