I turned 40 last year and after years of watching myself get fluffier and fluffier on tv (and some BAD hair and clothing choices ?), I made it my goal to wear a pair of Chloe’s jeans on my 40th birthday. ? ⠀

Well, I’m sorry to say that it didn’t happen. It took me two weeks past my birthday to do it but I DID IT and it felt GREAT. And Chloe was SO. VERY. THRILLED. Except not. ?⠀

When it comes to staying in shape, I definitely have my ups and downs. I struggle. I like to eat treats and I’m not always the best at working out. I will never again look like I did at 17. But, I remind myself that it’s a journey and keep at it. ?⠀

Plus, it feels really great to share clothes with my teenager. ? ⠀
