Cette fresque dite « Le Printemps » ??‍♀️ se présentait de manière très différente quand elle intégra la collection Campana : seules quatre fragments antiques, les bras, la tête et les pieds, étaient visibles sur un fond couvert d’un jutage brun. ? En 2017 cette œuvre a été restaurée par Céline Maujaret-Guiné et un repeint très élaboré et fantaisiste a été découvert sous l’épais jutage brun.
? Admirez l’intégralité de cette femme dans l’exposition Campana dans le hall Napoléon du Louvre jusqu’au 18 février 2019 ! Vous pourrez découvrir sa tunique rose pâle et son manteau jaune qui laissent son buste dénudé.

? This so-called "Le Printemps" (The Spring) fresco was shown very differently when it incorporated the Campana’s collection: only four antique fragments, the arms, the head ??‍♀️ and the feet, were visible and the body was covered with a brown coating.
? In 2017 this work was restored by Céline Maujaret-Guiné where a very elaborate painting was discovered under the thick brown coating.
? Come and admire this full body figure in the Campana’s exhibition at the Napoleon Hall of The Louvre until February 18, 2019! You’ll be able to discover her pale pink tunic and her yellow coat which unveil part of her bust.
