It's been three and a half years since @gabrielahearst launched her eponymous brand. This week, she's opening her first boutique in a prime Manhattan real estate location– 985 Madison Avenue adjacent to the Carlyle Hotel. The beautiful store is a collaboration between Hearst and Zaher Katerji, lead architect at @zari.architects, and showcases in equal parts Hearst's refined taste and her sustainability mission: The store is the first built by Katerji without synthetics of chemicals, using natural and non-treated reclaimed oak.
