After the runway success of @avanope's first collaboration with @Marc Jacobs–including fake bootleg "Mark Jacobes" hoodies–Ava Nirui is taking a different approach. Given free reign by the Marc Jacobs team, Nirui asked her friends to reimagine the brand's logo while she made the packaging design. The result: hoodies that read "I can't believe it's not Marc Jacobs!" Real versus fake is the heart of bootleg culture, and now that it's been normalized and even embraced by fashion, this leaves room to play as Nirui has done.
