Yesterday The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall spent a further day in Ghana, visiting Kumasi and meeting The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II (absolute monarch of the Kingdom of Ashanti). #RoyalVisitGhana ?? The Asantehene has a long standing relationship with the British Monarchy, having met The Queen at Buckingham Palace in 2000. The Prince of Wales previously met the Asantehene in Glasgow where they both received honorary degrees.
The Duchess received some beautiful Kente robes from Lady Julia.
