Pictured here is The Last Honey Hunter himself, Mauli Dhan, after his final honey harvest and probably the last one for his shamanistic culture in remote eastern Nepal. Witnessing him climb rope-less on wet rock while being swarmed by hundreds of thousands of bees to continue the tradition of gathering hallucinogenic honey was nothing short of magical. ~
