? Ce monument exceptionnel est en mouvement pour être exposé dans l’exposition « Un rêve d’Italie. La collection du marquis Campana » du 7 novembre 2018 au 11 février 2019. Attention ‼️ Après cette exposition il faudra attendre début 2021 pour revoir ce couple d’amoureux.
? Cette sculpture provient de Caere (vers 520 - 510 av. J.-C.), une cité célèbre à l'époque archaïque pour sa sculpture en argile. En effet, il s’agit d’un sarcophage figurant les défunts tendrement enlacés, à demi étendus sur un lit dans l'attitude de banqueteurs. ?

? This sculpture comes from Caere (520 - 510 av. J.-C), a city famous in the Archaic period for its clay sculpture. This sarcophagus features the deceased tenderly entwined, reclining on a bed in the attitude of banqueters. ?
