I am so glad to finally be able to share this video with you. There are so many things I want to say about the making of it- how powerful the experience was for me, who each of the women are, and how significant they each have been in my life.
I want to talk about how challenging it was to direct while wearing a helmet and how badass Kathryn was at driving us all over LA and Vancouver as we raced around trying to film as much at magic hour as we could. I want to talk about the significance of the jellyfish and how much I loved working with almost all women (except of course @samuelaaronbennett ) and how talented everyone is, and how much of their hearts they brought, or what it meant to look my grandmother in the eye for the longest i ever have or will.
I want to talk about how hard it was to get that guy to bump into me and how precious it is to have my godson on film when he was that small.. I could talk for hours about how much this video means to me, but I think instead I’ll just let you watch it, and hope you can feel all those things instead.
