Kiyomizu-dera Temple(#清水寺) is one of the representative temples in Kyoto?

The temple was founded about 1,200 years ago, and is built on a slight hill. The stage area in front of the main hall locates 12 meters above ground level, and is open for night viewing just 3 times a year.

Although the temple burned down several times in fires, the one today was built in 1633 and still stands strong.
