Learning the process of cotton spinning with this lovely Kayaw lady. Nimble fingers and ALOT of patience is needed! The Kayaw tribe only spin and weave to make cloths for their village members. They make traditional cloths that are kept for special ancestral ceremonies as part of their animist beliefs. There are only 4 women left in the village that know the process and before long they will be trading resources for machine made cloths in the market as the youth of the village now work on the land to provide for their families. ?#roxonajourney #cottonspinning #realstories #traditions #losttribes
