Our next of #10featuredteachers Round 2 is Samantha!! “Hello! My name is Samantha and this is my 3rd year as a 3rd grade teacher. I work at an AMAZING school in Maryland. My school is filled with a beautifully diverse population that has not only made me a better teacher, but a better human. I have learned so much about different cultures & family traditions. My favorite day of the year is our “Culture Celebration” where students celebrate by wearing traditional clothing, presenting a slideshow about a country their family (or they) are from and bringing in a traditional dish. The room is filled with family & amazing food from (literally) around the world. My class this year is FILLED with 24 eager, enthusiastic, excited, kind, respectful, friendly and amazing students.
