The FDA surprised Juul at its HQ and seized "more than a thousand pages of documents" related to the company's marketing practices.

Juul has been at the center of the FDA's attention this year as the e-cigarette becomes a phenomenon among teens. Roughly 3 million, or about 20% of high school kids, are using e-cigarettes, preliminary data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's annual National Youth Tobacco Survey shows. That’s up from 1.73 million, or 11.7%, in last year's National Youth Tobacco Survey.
