This is my 4 week old niece, Maeve. She is perfect. ⠀

Maeve’s beautiful Mama is my beautiful cousin, Marissa. Marissa & I grew up like sisters, not only do I love her dearly, I idolized her (and still do). Marissa’s Dad and my Mum are twins, and growing up Marissa and I would often get mistaken for twins because we are so alike. It is very special to me to hold the preciousness of Maeve, and a true honour to be her Aunty. —- I couldn’t be more in love with her. ⠀

I have been reading a lot about soul energy recently, the power, beauty and infinite way in which souls exsist.
A week after Maeve entered this world, her loved Pop, Marissa’s Dad passed through to the next.
My Uncle Lindsay was a ridiculously kind, generous and beautiful person, he was never ever judgemental and he approached everything with listening ears, an sensationally open mind and incredibly supportive words of love and care. His demenour and energy was instantly calming, it is hard to describe, but he had a very magic way about him, a certain energy that was felt by all. ⠀

While Maeve and her Pop only had a few days on this earth together, she has the exact same energy as Uncle Lindsay and while it is a bittersweet time, his kindness will be forever remebered in her eyes and in the beautiful demeouner of her calmness, gifts I am adament that Maeve’s Pop passed to her as he waited for her soul to join us on earth. I wanted to let Maeve know this, because while she will be too brand new to remember this time, she will carry his beautiful legacy of care and kindness within her, always. A precious reminder on darker days for her Mum, her Mum’s sisters, and all who loved him. ⠀
