hate - follow: following someone on social media whose online presence annoys you. why do we do it? it serves our uncontrollable need to give unsolicited advice, without having to put in the effort to actually defend our position. negging. the correctional comment trying to trip someone up or "catch" them in error. who do you hate - follow? could you consider unfollowing them and removing those negative thoughts from your life? or when you feel that impulse to "correct" someone online, maybe replace that with some kind of encouragement or positive reinforcement? we are all just out here trying our best, after all.
