The World at Night project
Each September a 3-night light festival called LUMINA happens in Cascais near Lisbon (this year on Sep 21-23). Walking at dark under these modern conceptual outdoor art installations was an unusual experience, standing next to the 15th century walls of Cascais Citadel. In 1878 the complex was equipped with the first electric lights in Portugal.
