Photo by @Keith Ladzinski | No matter what the season, Patagonia is a place of rugged wilderness and unpredictable weather, especially in the winter. The daylight hours are short and cold. Simply a prerequisite condition to the day. For ranchers, like my friend Victor here, there's no shortage of work that needs to be done. I took this photo of him on a day when he was moving his horses to a new pasture on his estancia for grazing. It's hard work to say the least but one that rewards you with untamed beauty and the freshest of air in Chile's Patagonia wilderness.
