I’ve been waiting to be welcomed to Oz my entire life.

A Midwesterner, I grew up on the tale of a plucky girl with a dog who traveled the world via extreme meteorological events. This year, I finally got to and I brought my girl Bevin with me.

Have you met my sister from another twister @filtersandframes yet? Though we felt like we’ve known each other forever, we met doing a play a decade ago. Which also happened to be a year AFTER hubs met her on set and remarked “you and my wife would get along so well.” ?♀️

Bevin is also an incredible singer-songwriter and had to put up with my gleeful tone-deaf singing of Oz songs all the way up Beech Mountain to finally visit the @landofoznc.

But being a Kansas girl, she endured. ? Just like Dorothy dealt with a tornado ?to get to Oz.
