LET’S HELP PETER & HIS STUDENTS BUILD A CONCERT BAND WITH AWESOME INSTRUMENTS! “I am the music teacher at Corkery Elementary, in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago. My students are plagued with gun violence on a daily basis, and newer threats from immigration officials. My job is to expose my students to new ideas, and to engage them in a subject that can help relieve the stress and anxiety of daily life.

I run an after school rock band, but the students and community would really love an after school concert band.
