Luv(sic) Part2 was written in the direct aftermath of 9/11 seventeen years ago, while the towers were still smoldering. I remember writing to the beat Nujabes sent me in a house I was staying in Tokyo. Looking back, had the tragedy never happened, he might have never made the music or I wouldn't have come up with the idea to call it a sequel.
