I had an awesome meeting with a filmmaker for a movie and he inspired me. He just gets it. His words really are the catalyst for all these thoughts.

Now don’t get me wrong, I see nothing with playing the role as the comic relief. This isn’t about crapping on those roles.
It’s about variety! Seeing different sides of any archetype. Getting to explore different scenarios as an actor. There have been plenty of films where a fat male lead has a beautiful woman on his arm (she’s never fat either), it’s never the opposite. It’s a new narrative I think I want to explore. Is it so revolutionary to have a woman who isn’t small be the object of desire? Is it so groundbreaking to have a male and female lead that are both fat?
