In the blue black night we watched the full yellow moon set over the far hills - little wisps of fog tucked between each rolling top. And the day slowly took shape as we rocked and sang lullabies to our new little one

A dewy start to the day with a walk through the gardens, clipping a few heads of these magnificent limelight hydrangea to admire inside. A buzz of tractor engines whirling as the last cutting of hay is turned one final time before bailing. The smell of clover and grasses puffs through our wide open windows
