When you are in the studio writing, you should always ask yourself - "Will I be proud to play this song in 5 or 10 or 20 years" and "is this a classic, does this song give me goosebumps?" You can write 100 songs just to have one that you want to play over and over again that makes everything in the world seem to fade away and it's just about that song.. Don't live for the moment, don't chase trends.. concentrate on your legacy, everything you make you should be intensely proud of....
