President Trump’s former personal lawyer made the extraordinary admission in court yesterday that @ドナルド・トランプ directed him to pay 2 women hush money in 2016 “for the principal purpose of influencing the election.” The plea represented a pivotal moment in the investigation into the president. Michael Cohen told a judge that the payments to the women — Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal — were made “in coordination with and at the direction of a candidate for federal office,” implicating the president in a federal crime. He described in plain-spoken language how @ドナルド・トランプ worked with him to cover up a potential sex scandal. #MichaelCohen, once a loyal ally to the president, pleaded guilty to breaking campaign finance laws and multiple counts of tax evasion and bank fraud.
