You don’t have to be a geologist to know these islands are gonna move. Yet many still build precariously close to the sea against all logic and scientific data. I’m guessing 95% of oceanfront homes are for vacation rental only. Investors take their chances and mostly it works. Yet with hurricane season started all of us here always wonder if this year we get nailed. #outerbanks
