Miss Pearla is settling in nicely at home with the rest of my animal friends. I got this little girl as a companion for a little goat I rescued last year. Someone had tried to castrate him so he was in a very bad way when I got him. It’s cruel the things we do to these animals, and how much we have lost touch with the fact that they feel pain, joy, sadness & happiness just like us. I know it’s hard to understand especially for people that don’t get to spend a lot of time with animals but we can learn so much from them. I love it when people come and visit my little farm and are so entertained by all the personality they have. I hope that I can help spread a little kindness and compassion. I know there are so many human issues in this world, so much suffering and so many in need. But I do believe that if we can find compassion in our hearts for animals then there is no way that we cannot find compassion and love for our fellow brothers and sisters. I love the quote by Gandhi “You can judge a society by the way it treats its animals.”
