Today I met this little guy! ?Well, not so little... and he is so much older then me and very territorial. Apparently he’s been in this area for a veeery long time and every year he is fighting with other male turtles to protect his territory. He is the boss!
But why I’m writing this? This experience made me think of how we can be so ignorant in so many ways and forget about the wild life.. Local’s were telling us that they have been fighting with tourists about how careless they are. They swim up and they touch the turtles... why do we always find the need to do that? It’s a wild life, we can see them, but why go and trouble them? we have to be more conscious of this, we have to think of the future. I want our future generations to experience and see the beauty of the them like we do. We have to be a good example and take care of wild life! So they have future!
