７月の誕生石はルビーです。先週はパープルの色使いについてがテーマでしたので、今回は赤を使ってのお部屋のデコレーションについてです。
”赤”という色は、色々な意味で感情を湧き立てる色です。レストランでの赤い色使いを見ても分かるように、食欲を増したり、活動的な意欲を掻き立てます。
一方、どの赤を使うのか、どのような割合で使うのか、などとても難しい色でもあります。
沢山の赤を対照的に引き立てる色例えば、クールな色味 (青やクールグレー)、そして黒や白を足すことが大切です。
ホノルルの青い空や海にも対照的な赤を上手に使ってくださいね。インテリアデザイナーからのアドバイスです。

Red is a hue that can evoke a number of emotions.. It can be energizing people’s appetite and activities as you can see in some restaurants.
But at the same time, choosing the right red and amount or proportion of red in the room can be extremely tricky.
