I enjoy talking in person once I’ve warmed up. I felt so awkward at the festival, but then I started to talk to people I had some kind of interaction with prior at the fest and we all hit it off and it turns out it we all felt the same way and were all artists, so we understood what we were all feeling and going through. Now we are connected on social media since we all live in different cities. I love and enjoy meaningful conversation, but not over the phone. I can’t read people’s facial emotions over the phone, so I’m not sure if I’m engaging them effectively.
