The concert at the Musee Olympique was organized by the Children First Foundation for its first anniversary.
This foundation was made by Dresse Francine Tinguely (right on the second photo) and Mr.Nick Grey to support the underprivileged children and the general health care in Northern Madagascar.
Dr.Stefano Scaringella (second from left on the third photo), originally from Italy, has been living in Madagascar since 1984, operating personally more than 25000 patients and giving more than 700 orphaned children a familly home. All people in the village and the foundation call him "Grandpa". I hope their project will bring many children a happy safe life, and I wish to visit Madagascar in the near future! .

一週間前の話ですが、オリンピック博物館での演奏会は、Children First Foundationという基金の１周年記念イベントでした。

この基金は、マダガスカルの貧しい子供達と医療機関を支援するために、フランシーヌ・タンギリーさん（二枚目写真右）とニック・グレイさんによって、作られました。

Dr.ステファノ・スカリンジェラさん（三枚目左から２番目）は、イタリア出身ですが1984年より北マダガスカルに住み、医者として多くの人の命を救い、また恵まれない子供達を受け入れ、住居を提供しました。現地の方達は彼を「グランパ＝お爺ちゃん」と呼ぶそうです。

このプロジェクトが多くの子供達に安全で幸せな生活環境を提供することを切に願います。

私自身、このご縁をきっかけにマダガスカルについてもっと勉強し、いつの日か行ってみたいと思いました。

P.S. 本日6月23日は「オリンピックデー」だそうです。
