Such a beautiful escape from the bustling NY downtown scene on Avenue B — the amazing @29bteahouse run by the infinitely knowledgeable @teadealers . An array of teas from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China awaits to whisk you away on a mini palate vacation (sparkling matcha?? What???) and what appears to be a simple food menu to accompany your tea ends up being subtly deep, like this somen noodles in matcha-vegetable broth and topped with salmon caviar. I’ll definitely be back.
