Industrial giant GE has been part of the Dow Jones industrial average for 120 years, but it won't be part of it anymore... In the past year, GE stock has been battered as the company overhauls its business. The stock has fallen more than 55% over the last 12 months, losing more than 25% this year alone. This move will put further pressure on GE shares as some index funds will no longer be required to own the stock. Shares closed at $12.95 on Tuesday.
