For David Beckham (@デビッド・ベッカム), the joys of fatherhood are the simple things: getting up with his kids in the morning, walking them to school, playing football in the park. “I’m so proud of each of my four children,” says David, whose eldest son Brooklyn (@brooklynbeckham) was born when David was 23. “Each with their own personality from such an early age, they are incredible individuals in their own right.”
David’s top advice for new parents is to be present. “It is the greatest gift you can give your children,” he says. “For me, and many of the mums and dads I’ve spoken to about parenting over the years, it comes down to two things: love and fear. It’s these emotions that push us to achieve more for our children every day. My work with UNICEF (@unicef) reminds me that parents all over the world experience these same emotions, no matter on their circumstance.”
