@capitals cheers are audible even inside the thick walls of our museum! Today we're celebrating the #ALLCAPS Stanley Cup victory. Next month, we're opening a display on the 50th anniversary of the first International Special Olympics Games. "Special Olympics at 50" will highlight four athletes and explore the climate of stigma and discrimination faced by people with intellectual disabilities. Eunice Kennedy Shriver began the camp that would grow into the Special Olympics in 1962.
