5 years ago I met this human and experienced the joy of falling in love with him. My love for him and his for me have taught me more about myself and the world than any other life experience I’ve had to date. But most of all it has taught me that love makes us better beings. And it is also a choice, to love. My hope for the world is that we all make that choice more often, to lead with love. Love for each other and for ourselves. Because with love comes understanding and with understanding comes acceptance and with acceptance comes peace.
