Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending an @EasySpiritOfficial brunch to celebrate the launch of their new Spring Collection. Did you know the company started in the 1980's during the NYC transit strike, when women had to walk to work in heels or sneakers? As a mom who lives in NYC, and gets almost everywhere I need to go by foot or public transportation (often with my kids in tow), few people know the need for comfortable shoes more than I do. I rush to get my kids to school on time, I walk to work, I run them around to after school activities, I hightail it home on the subway so we have time to eat dinner all together... These are just a few of the things that I #movefor. And honestly, I can't imagine doing any of it in high heels! Thank you, Easy Spirit for gifting me a pair of Geinee walking shoes!
